ACE-E Working Groups and Roles

Board of Trustees (BOT)

• Provides and reviews vision, mission, and goals
• Connects and coordinates Work Groups; approves budget plans

Events Work Group (EWG)

• Maintains, sustains, and recruits for ACE-E organizational leadership with teambuilding events
• Plans events to support the Work Groups and Trustees

Mentoring Work Group (MWG)

• Recruits, trains, implements, evaluates, and maintains the mentors from local employers & federal /military volunteers to help public school age youths

Post High School Work Group (PHSWG)

• Implements a Junior Tech Fellowship Program and a “peer” mentoring career initiative
• Coordinates laptop and broadband technology used by students, parents/guardians, teachers, administrators, and mentors for career development and technology job skills

Strategic Charter Work Group (SCWG)

• Identifies opportunities, needs, and resources;   develops budget plans; recruits ACE-E members
• Tracks, measures, and publicizes successes
